1. Getting Started
Setting up the Tapix Keyboard
1Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2Go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard
3Select Tapix
4Tap Tapix again and enable Allow Full Access
5Full Access is required for the keyboard to communicate with AI providers over the network
Why does Tapix need Full Access?
Tapix uses AI providers (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini) to transform your text. Full Access enables the keyboard to make network requests to these services. Without it, AI features cannot function.
Tapix does NOT log your keystrokes and does NOT collect passwords or sensitive information. The keyboard only reads text near your cursor when you explicitly trigger an AI action.
2. How to Use Tapix
From the Keyboard
Switch to the Tapix keyboard using the globe icon
Select or position your cursor near the text you want to transform
Choose an AI action (e.g., Rewrite, Fix Grammar, Translate, Summarize, Expand, etc.)
The transformed text will appear for you to review and use
From the App
Open Tapix and paste or type your text
Select an AI action
Review and copy the result

Tapix offers various AI-powered text transformations including rewriting, grammar correction, translation, summarization, expansion, tone adjustment, and more. Actions can be customized in the app settings.

4. Managing Your Subscription
To cancel or change your subscription
1Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2Tap your Apple ID at the top
3Tap Subscriptions
4Find Tapix Premium and manage from there
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
After cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period
You can resubscribe at any time

"Why aren't AI actions working?"
Ensure Full Access is enabled: Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Tapix > Allow Full Access
Check your internet connection — AI features require network access
If you've declined the AI consent prompt, go to Tapix app settings and accept it
Make sure you haven't reached your daily limit (15 actions for free users)
"I see 'Daily limit reached' — what do I do?"
Free users get 15 AI actions per day. The limit resets at midnight.
Upgrade to Tapix Premium for unlimited actions.
"The keyboard isn't showing up"
Make sure you've added the keyboard: Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Tapix
Try restarting your iPhone
Ensure the app hasn't been offloaded (check Settings > General > iPhone Storage)
"AI results seem wrong or unexpected"
AI-generated text is produced by third-party models and may not always be perfect
Always review AI output before using it
Try rephrasing your input or using a different action for better results
"How do I change the translation language?"
Open Tapix > Settings > Translation Language and select your preferred target language.
"Can I use Tapix offline?"
No. Tapix requires an internet connection to communicate with AI providers. There is no offline mode.

What data does Tapix store?
A brief action history (80-character previews of input/output) stored locally on your device

How to delete your data
Action History: Go to Tapix app > Action History and clear it
All Data: Uninstalling Tapix removes all locally stored data from your device
Analytics: You can limit analytics tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics
Does Tapix read everything I type?
No. The keyboard only reads text near your cursor when you explicitly trigger an AI action. Tapix does not log keystrokes or monitor your typing.
