1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Tapix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the app.
2. Description of Service
Tapix is an AI-powered keyboard and text transformation app for iOS. It provides AI-driven text actions — including rewrite, translate, fix grammar, summarize, expand, and more — through both an in-app interface and a custom keyboard extension. The app requires iOS 17 or later.
3. Service Tiers
Free Tier
Access to all AI text actions, limited to 15 AI actions per day. The daily limit resets at midnight.
Pro Tier — Tapix Premium
Unlimited AI actions with no daily cap. Available as a monthly or annual subscription.
4. Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may vary by region and are determined by Apple's App Store pricing.
5. Keyboard Extension & Full Access
The Tapix keyboard extension requires "Full Access" permission to function. This permission is needed solely to enable network communication with AI providers for text processing.
You can enable or revoke Full Access at any time in iOS Settings > Tapix > Keyboards.
Without Full Access enabled, the keyboard's AI features will not be available.
6. AI-Generated Content
- Text transformations are produced by third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini).
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any AI-generated text.
- We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be free from errors, bias, or inappropriate content.
- AI-generated content should not be relied upon for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
7. AI Consent
Before using AI features, you must accept our AI data processing consent within the app. This consent acknowledges that your selected text will be sent to third-party AI providers for processing.
You may decline consent, but AI features will not be available without it.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Tapix to generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or harassing content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
- Use automated systems to access the service beyond normal app usage
- Resell or redistribute the service or AI outputs commercially without authorization
9. Intellectual Property
- Tapix, its design, features, and code are the intellectual property of Dmzlabz Inc..
- You retain ownership of the text you input into Tapix.
- AI-generated outputs are provided for your use; ownership of AI-generated content is subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (Anthropic and Google).
- The "Mercury" design system, Tapix branding, and associated visual elements are proprietary.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and handling. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
TAPIX IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Dmzlabz Inc. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE TAPIX. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dmzlabz Inc. from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of Tapix, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
14. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Tapix (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
15. Termination
- We may terminate or suspend your access to Tapix at any time for violation of these Terms.
- You may stop using Tapix at any time by uninstalling the app.
- Upon termination, your right to use Tapix ceases immediately. All locally stored data will be removed upon uninstallation.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Israel.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Tapix after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
