Privacy Policy

The short version: VITTRA stores all your subscription data locally on your device. We do not collect personal information, we do not sell data, and we do not require an account. The only data that ever leaves your device is the screenshot you choose to scan (sent to Anthropic's API for analysis) and brand logo lookups by domain name. AI scan credit balances are stored in Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store and your device Keychain so they persist across reinstalls — this data is never accessible to us.

1. Who We Are

VITTRA is developed and operated by Dmzlabz ("we," "us," or "our"). VITTRA is an iOS application that helps you track, visualize, and manage your recurring subscriptions. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.

2. What Data VITTRA Stores

VITTRA does not require an account. There is no registration, no login, and no user profile. All subscription data you enter — names, prices, renewal dates, categories, notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

None of this data is transmitted to VITTRA's servers or any third party, except as described in Section 4.

3. iCloud Sync Pro

If you are a VITTRA Pro user and choose to enable iCloud Sync, your subscription data is backed up to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your own iCloud storage — VITTRA does not have access to it. Apple's iCloud privacy policy governs this data. You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in Settings → Subscription Data.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

VITTRA connects to the following external services. We use them only to provide specific features and we do not share personal information with any of them.

Anthropic Claude API — AI Screenshot Import

When you use the AI import feature, the screenshot or photo you select is compressed, processed on-device to remove metadata, and sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. The image is used solely to extract subscription information (service name, price, billing cycle, renewal date). The image is not stored by VITTRA after the analysis completes. Anthropic may process this data subject to their own privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy

Brandfetch API — Brand Logos

When you add a subscription, VITTRA queries Brandfetch using the service's domain name (e.g., "netflix.com") to fetch a brand logo. No personal information is sent — only the domain name. brandfetch.com/privacy

ExchangeRate-API — Currency Conversion

VITTRA fetches current currency exchange rates to normalize multi-currency subscriptions into your preferred display currency. Only your selected base currency code is sent (e.g., "USD"). No personal information is transmitted. exchangerate-api.com/privacy

Apple StoreKit — In-App Purchases

VITTRA Pro is purchased as a one-time in-app purchase through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. VITTRA never sees your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs this transaction: apple.com/privacy

Apple Push Notification Service — Reminders

If you enable payment reminders, VITTRA uses iOS local notifications. These are scheduled on-device and never routed through VITTRA's servers. No notification content is transmitted externally.

6. Bug Reports

If you choose to submit a bug report via the in-app "Report a Bug" feature, an email is opened on your device containing diagnostic information you can review before sending: app version, iOS version, device screen resolution, locale setting, device identifier, Pro status, and subscription count. This data is only sent if you choose to send the email. It is used solely to diagnose issues and is not shared with any third party.

7. Children's Privacy

VITTRA is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address it.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you control its retention entirely. You can delete all subscription data and reset the app to its default state at any time via Settings → Subscription Data → Delete All Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

If iCloud Sync is enabled, disabling it in Settings does not automatically delete your iCloud backup. You can delete iCloud data from your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

9. Security

VITTRA takes reasonable technical precautions to protect your data. Screenshots sent to the Anthropic API are compressed and stripped of EXIF metadata (including GPS coordinates, device model, and capture timestamp) before transmission. All API communications use HTTPS. Sensitive preferences are stored in Apple's encrypted keychain where applicable.

No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to implementing best practices for an iOS application of this type.

10. International Users

VITTRA is operated from Israel. If you are using the app from outside Israel, please be aware that data sent to third-party APIs (Anthropic, Brandfetch, ExchangeRate-API) may be processed in other jurisdictions, including the United States. By using VITTRA, you consent to this processing.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VITTRA after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For significant changes, we will provide a notice within the app.

12. Your Rights

Because VITTRA does not collect or store personal data on any server, most data-subject rights (access, portability, erasure) are fulfilled automatically by you controlling your own device. If you have questions about data held by Apple (iCloud) or processed by Anthropic (screenshot scans), please refer to their respective privacy policies and privacy portals.
